Hailing from Sydney, Australian duo AYA have quickly established themselves as a name to watch. Humbly bringing nothing but heavy future bounce, these veteran D-Floor destroyers’ sole mission is to get you jumping wet and dripping with sweat.
With the innocence of a Columbian drug lord and with the smile of a Brazilian working girl, these night freaks live to blow bass bins, ripping their native clubs and the Australian festival circuit to much applause.
Their debut release, the now classic “Hott This EP” was remixed by Edu K, Dre Skull, Shir Khan, Rico Tubbs, In Flagranti and more, it debuted in Top 100 on Beatport Chart. Lifted from the EP, their stone cold hit “The Flash” was picked up by Sinden and featured on Fabric 43 “Get Familiar” radio mix, with both “La Fumo Loco” and “Love Bounce” championed on Radio One by Kissy Sell Out.
Fast forward to 2009 and their latest single “Lucky Thirteen” is doing big things, the track being widely lauded as the colonial answer to Fake Blood “Mars”. The release has brought major heat, being charted ans supported by Sinden, Crookers, Bodinski, Kissy Sell Out, Drop the Lime, Don Diablo.
Never ones to rest on their laurels, they have just emerged from their dungeon of magic and mystery to take the helm to deliver Sweat it out Vol. 2.
Featuring 30 tracks of pure adrenaline, it can only be described and “Party Potion” with ingredients from Armand Van Helden, South Rakkas Crew, Radioclit, Bombo, High Powered Boys, Dan Haaksman, Olivier $, label mainstays such as Killaqueenz, Edu K and many exclusive AYA bangers.
Not too bad for two sweaty bass heads from down under…
