You know you’ve made it as a producer when you can release an EP without actually putting your own mix of a track on it! And that’s exactly what king of the beats Rico Tubbs has managed to do with his next release on his and Terry Hooligan’s label Bass=Win.
The ‘Rico Tubbs Remixed’ EP is out today 22nd August 2011 (after a short delay!) and features a heavyweight collection of remixes from cutting edge producers, the best of which see Submerse get to grips with ‘Madness’ and Kanji Kinetic reworking ‘Feel It’. Other remixes come from Killabits and Boy Kid Cloud to produce a diverse package of quality remixes.

Kanji Kinetic has yet more releases coming out in August – next up is ‘Nanotechnology’ b/w ‘Sniper’ released this month on Love Love Records.
Following up his remix for Rico Tubbs on Bass=Win Records, the Love Love Records release is the next in a number of releases coming out on various labels over the coming months, including releases on Electrosimulation Records (August / September) and Idiot House Records later this year.
Alongside monthly releases on his own Mutant Bass label, which he takes on tour with Mutant Bass label-mate Submerse, Kanji continues his relentless studio output.

Kanji Kinetic has been working on his studio tan since he got his new studio up & running allowing him to work day & night at full volume without the fear of noise complaints and the fruits of that labour are beginning to hit the shops now.
First up is his remix of Figure’s ‘Have You Fucked Up’ out now on Bass Hound Records 10 track compilation ‘Treats vol. 1′

Mutant Bass Records is a digital record label presenting the cutting edge of high energy bass music from upcoming & established artists, all free to download.

Kanji Kinetic has been busy with the nuts and bolts of music production and so has a bucket load of tracks coming out this month and a bunch of labels including Dada, Play Me Records and his own new digital label Mutant Bass which released ‘Night Trap’ (for free) yesterday (9th february).
With releases on Dirty Digital, Idiot House and Dada Records all coming out in the next 2 months we were particularly impressed with the forthcoming collaboration with Figure “Frankenstein” coming out on Play Me Records.
