RRRitalin makes dirty, bouncy rave music by mashing together elements from the past 30 years of dance music. He grew up listening to Jungle and oldskool hardcore, hiphop and ghettotek, bassline, dubstep, techno, UK garage and soundsystem culture and all his music references all of these. RRRitalin’s music recreates his first experience of raving, when everything was confusing and disorienting and ever so slightly scary.
By day he’s a neuroscience PhD student, so RRRitalin represents the Dyonisian in him, throwing his restrained professional side into sharp, debauched relief.
RRRitalin’s first vinyl release in January 2011 on Coin Operated recordings, and since then he’s played at a wide range of nights and festivals across Europe, alongside some brilliant artists like Kanji Kinetic, Chris Clark, Luke Vibert, and Remarc.
He’s working on tracks for several labels including Coin Operated, Cock Rock Disco, Kitty Corner, Horror Boogie, and Mutant Bassand will also be joining Kanji Kinetic and Submerse on a Mutant Bass Records tour this autumn.

The mighty Kid606 (Tigerbeat6) steps up the epic factor with a glitchy, bass-loaded rework; RRRitalin (Coin-Operated) delivers a growling techno-bassline frenzy; Hardcore regular JAKAZiD (Nukleuz) steps outside his regular territory with a high-energy drum & bass remix; Z-Kat (Electrostimulation) defies genres with 160 bpm juke-influenced madness; and Threnody (UK Trends) provides the grime with a moody, futuristic flavour.

Faze 2 are pleased to welcome RRRitalin onto our roster.
RRRitalin’s musical output seems to be as limitless as his energy! As well as releasing a consistent output of releases on labels including Coin Operate, Mutant Bass and various others, he’s also working on his PHD and a second production moniker called Dorsal – all this beside an ever increasing number of club bookings.
RRRitalin performs his highly energetic live shows using a laptop running ableton and midi controllers and his sets are full throttle, genre smashing, white knuckle rides through future rave murkage.
With 6 vinyl releases and a digital release coming out in the next 6 months, including 3 solo EPs, RRRitalin’s rise to prominence continues apace! Watch this space for more updates.
