There’s supposedly sunny weather on the horizon and a much needed boost in

temperature may just help HeavyFeet with their current studio-tan complexions!

Fortunately, their fourth release is here to offer the perfect accompaniment to those lazy

summer days when the good weather vibes do finally arrive.  With recent airplay on

Radio 1, 1Xtra, XFM, Kiss and Galaxy FM, and widespread media coverage courtesy of

DJ Mag, IDJ Magazine and The Times Online, Stamp! Beats is gearing up for what is

sure to be a successful summer ahead.

Sheffield has delivered some great vocalists over the years (Steve Edwards and Pete

Simpson to name two) and now breakthrough Steel City singer, MC and beatboxer, Jon

Rice joins this list. ‘Saving Me’ sees HeavyFeet take on the bubbling broken beat scene

to great effect, focusing on pulsating, chromatic synth chords, chunky, live drum breaks

and an array of traditional broken beat instrumentation as Rice (recently compared to

London vocal starlet Ben Westbeech) belts out a wonderfully simple, jazzy vocal hook.

HeavyFeet’s own Club Dub is a further take on some of their favorite dancefloor

flavours, tackling bashment, funky and breaks with their typical heavy drum sound and

ever present sub bass. Southern Fried Records’ men of the moment, Black Noise,

deliver a suitably styled summer anthem, complete with sampled disco vibes, funky club

drums and select cuts from Rice’s catchy vocal line…  it’s got Ibiza written all over it!

It’s that time yet again, another great (free!) offering from the HeavyFeet camp with their 3rd release on new label Stamp! Beats. With the last release “War” ft Jenna G still receiving support and praise from all corners, this track comes hot on it’s heels providing perfect summer vibes.

‘Now you may think you know it all, but in truth son, you don’t know shieeet’ – Bubbz delivers some well remembered words of wisdom to the young men of today via Young & Dumb, the brand new summer-tinged single from HeavyFeet, which makes reminiscing about school days cool, quirky and down right naughty!

Amidst old-skool hip-hop beats, a catchy melody line and a rolling, laid back bassline, Bubbz drops one of his finest trademark tongue in cheek vocals yet, encouraging smiles and summer time fun all round. The Club Dub encompasses stripped back Dutch house style drums, repetitive synth hooks and choice cuts of vocal over a pounding sub bass.

Dance music’s favourite ex-pat, Nick Thayer, rounds off the package with a storming main room mix, featuring a thumping, garagey drum groove, injected amongst snippets of the original vocals and melody, this time with the addition of one of the nastiest, heaviest basslines heard this side of 2010.

With one week to go, HeavyFeet are ready to launch the first release on Stamp! Beats... exciting times!

Over the next 12 months HeavyFeet will offer 12 singles, each release comprising of an original vocal track, club mix and guest remix.

The label launches on Monday 5th April, and we're excited to present the official music video teaser for the debut release; HeavyFeet vs Virus Syndicate "I Spy".

"I Spy" will be available as a free download from the Bass Music Blog as of next week. The full release, with support from DJ Zinc, Hatiras, Toddla T, Xample, Drop the Lime and MJ Cole, will be available to purchase from www.beatport.com/artists/heavyfeet as of Monday 5th April.

Following the success of their DJ Zinc ‘Killa Sound’ (Bingo Bass) remix, HeavyFeet return to shatter all expectations with their brand new label, Stamp! Beats.

Over the next twelve months HeavyFeet will release twelve singles, with each release comprising of an original vocal track, a club mix and guest remix.

The original of each monthly release will be given away for free through a variety of online resources, encouraging fans to download, feedback on and share HeavyFeet’s exciting and original material.

In terms of releases, HeavyFeet have been a little bit quiet of late, however, their much lauded remix of B Rich’s ‘Make me Dance’ marks the start of a slew of releases on various labels, that will once again, put the ‘feet on the lips of every clubber out there quicker than a dose of foot in mouth disease.

Its only been out a short while and B Rich’s new remix EP is already getting a lot of love from DJs and bloggers alike.  The newest release comes on Party Like Us Records, which he runs with fellow label boss AC Slater, has remixes from Heavyfeet, AC Slater and more.
