One for the vinyl purists out there, on freshly formed Catapult Records… a double A-side from South Wales’ brightest rising stars Darkhouse Family & C.R.S.T. The release coincides with National Record Shop Day on the 16th April, so make sure you grab your copy sharpish as this won’t be available on download.
PRESS RELEASE:
‘“Stabwound” from Darkhouse family owns the A side which represents a much more frenetic stretch to their sound. “Stabwound” is a straight up dancefloor number that still retains the duo’s future boogie synth lines and red-eyed drum patterns you’ve experienced on their previous releases for Fat City, ‘Stay Blazed’ and ‘Mein Atari’. This release packs a heavy, heavy punch, and is livened with plenty of percussive stutters set amid a blaze of hazy electronics, get your hands in the air and prepare to feel your very soul tingle.
The flip is ruled by (Herve, N Type and Skream approved!) CRST with “Redeye”. This is a more tribal chrome coated take on Garage; it’s a nasty piece of dance floor business!’
It’s available on pre-order now via the Catapult website… don’t delay!
