Leeds based live act, Jeuce, provide a unique and innovative take on what is undoubtedly the buzz genre of the moment – Dubstep. Taking the sound from it’s dark and grimey 2-Step London roots, Jeuce infuse the genre’s addictive basslines with Electro/Punk influences, uplifting vocals and melodic synths.
AKA Chris, Josh, Liam and Ryan, Jeuce was created by the 21 year old Hertfordshire born students as a way for them to bridge the gap between their love for dance music and their passion for playing live. Their debut single “Flavour” has already reached the top echelons of genre download charts and received national radio support from stations including BBC Radio 1. On top of the singles, the band have
also gone on to remix for some of the countries leading artists and record labels including Ellie Goulding, Crookers, Hadouken, Ladytron, Atlantic and Cr2.
A hybrid of sounds and visuals, their live sets are a relentless mix of hard-hitting club anthems and original songs perfectly crafted to suit everywhere from the clubs they play in to the festivals they’re booked for – including this years Glastonbury and Bloc Party.
For those clubs that simply can’t handle the live act, Jeuce Joyriders was created to provide the same energy and originality as the live performances in a back 2 back DJ set. As Jeuce Joyriders, the DJ duo of Chris and Liam have gone on to spin in some of the countries most prestigious venues including Ministry Of Sound (London) and
Sankeys (Manchester).
Alongside their newly formed collaborative group, Get Hype Collective, Jeuce’s DJ mix for leading clubbing website Dontstayin.com became the sites all time most downloaded mix of the week (only to be topped months later by Trance legend Paul Van Dyk).
