Mash the dj/producer/label owner/radio broadcaster (aka Martyn Henderson) has been DJing for 18 years and has released various tracks on labels including Dirt Crew, Def Drive, Blue Black, Glasgow Underground and his own Tracktion and Compact Disco labels. His tracks have been played by the likes of DJ Sneak, Freaks, Switch, Basement Jaxx, Funk D Void, Ralph Lawson, Slam, Laurent Garnier and Mylo to name but a few. He’s played everywhere from Paris to Prague, Brazil to Berlin, Ibiza to Inverness and everywhere in between. He’s been called on to DJ at after parties for household names including Basement Jaxx, Jamiriquai, Vivienne Westwood, Jonathan Saunders and Matthew Williamson, and has held residencies at Bugged Out, Alaska, The Sub Club, Turnmills (RIP). Aside from his original productions, Mash has remixed Snow Patrol, Blondie, Salt N Pepa, Peaches, Milton Jackson and more. In a previous life, Mash was one half of the now defunct DJ/Production duo The Jengaheads.

New signing Mash’s collaboration with Domsko ‘Ghetto Blaster’ is out now on Toto Records and available through juno download and other good download sites. Currently riding high at #2 in the djdownload electro charts (and #12 in the overall charts) the track is getting good reactions and dj support.

Faze 2 are pleased to welcome Mash onto our roster. The multi-talented man from Glasgow was one half of the Jengaheads and is now producing under his DJ Mash moinker for record labels including Glasgow Underground and his own Compact Disco label. Somebody’s Property will be released later this year with several remixes included on the package. The track has already recieved over 40,000 views on youtube.

Mash’s friday night radio show is broadcast throughout he UK’s Galaxy FM network (11pm – 2am) and reflects his DJ sets ranging from dubstep to electro and everything in between.
He holds various residencies in his hometown of Glasgow including his own weekly Monday night bash Burn at the city’s Buff Club.
