Tonight sees the Utah Saints back on the nation’s airwaves between 10PM and midnight as co-hosts on Eddie Temple Morris’s XFM show the Remix.  Taking a back 2 back approach to the tune selections they’ll be selecting the tunes to get your friday night jumping as we approach the witching hour!
The Utahs have been deep in the studio recently, working on new material which will be released soon, so expect to hear some exclusives form them.

Here’s a new mix from the Utah Saints recorded live in february 2010.
The mix eases across genres and includes many exclusives and re-edits of tracks that you will be hearing a lot of over the next few months, plus tunes from the likes of Diplo, Nadastrom, Noisia, Afrojack, Nom De Strip, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the Utahs themselves..
This is a taste of the Utahs in their element and for those who haven’t seen them live, is a perfect illustration of why they remain so popular with clubs and festivals around the world.

With recent remixes for Deekline and Wizard’s Don’t Smoke 2009 release as well as Killaflaw’s Man on Fire (#1 in the USA DMC dance chart) and Bring me the Horizon destroying dancefloors, Utah Saints have started 2010 with a bang!  Festival shows are already booked in for the Summer and a new single is only round the corner.  The band have also a couple of heavy weight remixes that they are working on right now.  We can’t say much about these yet but trust us – they are both BIG!!!

Utah Saints played host to Annie Mac, Riton and Doorly at their ever-popular monthly shindig ‘Sugarbeat’ in Edinburgh this month, broadcasting the Essential Mix live from the event.  January is a big month for the Utahs and Sugarbeat as they also celebrate the first birthday at Brixton Jamm with Herve, before looking forward to 5th birthday celebrations back up in Edinburgh next month at a very special party with themselves and Zane Lowe playing.

Here’s a mix from the Utah Saints recorded early in 2009.  The mix highlights the depth and breadth of a Utah Saints decks & fx show, taking in a range of genres including electro, fidgit, breaks, bassline house and drum n bass, with samples, re-edits and remixes thrown in for good measure.

Expect another mix in autumn 2009, before their new single sees the light of day.

Utah Saints are back in the studio on remix duties again.  This is 2 seperate projects for The Losers track “No Man is an Island” and the classic Deekline chart topper “Don;t Smoke (the reefer)” which gets a revamping to bring it right up to date for its 2009 re-release.

We don;t have a release date for either track yet, so watch this space for news, but in the meantime you can check out the clips to hear whats coming.

Never one to rest on their laurels, the Utah Saints have been called on for remix duty by some pretty varied artists.  This time its Birmingham’s The Twang who have commissioned a Utah Saints remix of their new single “Barney Rubble”.  The track is the first single to be released from The Twang’s new album and is available at iTunes and other good record stores.

After 3 – Wilmaaaaaaaaa!

The Utah Saints have remixed a fair few bands in their time, but even they were surprised to be called in to remix for screamo outfit “Bring Me The Horizon”.
Joining the likes of Linkin Park to remix this package, the Utah’s are more than happy with the result.
