Tonight sees the Utah Saints back on the nation’s airwaves between 10PM and midnight as co-hosts on Eddie Temple Morris’s XFM show the Remix.  Taking a back 2 back approach to the tune selections they’ll be selecting the tunes to get your friday night jumping as we approach the witching hour!
The Utahs have been deep in the studio recently, working on new material which will be released soon, so expect to hear some exclusives form them.

Sharkslayer will be patrolling warmer waters this August when they head down to Australia for their first Aussie/NZ tour! Alongside Dutch duo Mightyfools they will be performing at some of the hottest spots down under, including Chinese Laundry, Sydney and Ambar in Perth… full dates below:

Yolanda Be Cool are mid-air (at the time of this post), winging their way from their native Australia to Europe to kick off their first European tour. And what a tour it is!

With more parties lined up than Paris Hilton on a bender, you’ve got plenty of chances to catch Australia’s most exciting new export as they rock their way round Europe.

“We No Speak Americano” has already gained massive support from the likes of Brodinski, Mowgli, Sinden and Drop the Lime… it’s even been tipped to hit UK no1 by the Radio One team! Following their successful stint presenting on BBC Radio1’s ‘In New DJs we Trust’, Nerm and D-Code return to Radio 1 for one night only at midnight on July 27th 2010 in place of Nihal’s Beats show.

Virus Syndicate are about to embark on a summer of shows which Glastonbury festival amongst other UK shows, a tour of USA in July and ends with a mini-tour of Northern Europe (Finland / Estonia and more).   IF you’re lucky enough to have Virus in your town/city this video will give you an idea of what you can expect from the show.

Virus Syndicate’s ‘Breakout Trilogy’ album is currently getting loads of press, and reactions have been very good in the main.  They are really excited for the release of ‘Move it’ on Strictly Rhythm records at the end of this month.  This can be heard in the viral video below – it uses Reel2Real’s ‘I Like to Move it’ for the chorus of the track and is sure to be a big track in the clubs over the summer.

With tours of Australia & New Zealand being planned for autumn 2010 as well as shows in Asia and of course all over the UK and Europe, 2010 is shaping up to be a big year for Virus Syndicate

Dates are booking fast for Goth Trad’s next tour of UK & Europe (25th September – 14th November 2010).
With quality productions and remixes such as his re-working of Skream’s ‘Sandsnake’ on Disfigured Dubz (see the video above) its not surprising that he’s considered one of the best in the industry by artists and clubbers alike.

Goth Trad’s next release will be on Deep Medi Music around late August / early September, so perfect timing for the tour.

Faze 2 are pleased to welcome Nerm & D Code onto the roster.  From their BBC Radio 1 ‘In New DJs we Trust’ show, to their club rocking DJ sets, Nerm & D Code have been making big noise for a while now.  Together they have played headline sets at festivals ranging from Glastonbury and Bestival, to Radio 1’s big weekend and won awards for both their gigs, their productions and their presenting work.

Nerm is the founder of Shiva Soundsystem, a multi-faceted, all encompassing entity which is a record label, artist collective, event management, publishing and more.  His DJ sets bring together an eclectic mix of electro, dubstep, drum n bass and more.  He’s toured all over the world as a DJ and performing as part of a live set up.

D Code is Shiva Soundsystem’s producer extraordinaire, who’s drum n bass productions have drawn support from some of the biggest players in the scene, including Andy C, London Electricity and Fabio to name a few.  He’s also responsible for the huge ‘Annies Horn’ (video above) featured on DJ Hero (mashed up with DJ Shadow’s ‘Six Days’),  D Code is now the lead remixer for the DJ Hero game.
