It’s Mutant Bass time again! Kanji Kinetic’s label strives to bring you cutting edge bass music from established and up-and-coming artists alike, and this release is no different. Detboi teams up with Hot City Bass’ DJ Haus on this new track, due for release early next year. Many thanks to Rob Da Bank for giving it an exclusive play on his Radio1 ‘Garage Special’ from Maida Vale last weekend.

Last weekend Oxford Circus Topman in London was packed to the rafters with some of the biggest names in dance music for the CALM (or Campaign Against Living Miserably) takeover. Hosted by Eddy Temple Morris and Zane Lowe, shoppers were treated to an all-star lineup including Dan Le Sac, Mistajam, Kissy Sellout, Rob Da Bank, Huw Stephens & The Loose Cannons to name but a few.

Cheap Thrills boss Hervé also went back to back with our man Baxta and did their bit for the campaign, which provides a free, anonymous and confidential helpline for young men suffering depression or simply having trouble dealing with life’s stresses, rather than shouldering the burden alone.
