It’s been a minute since we caught up with our bro from Moscow Roby Howler. He’s been busy in the studio putting the finishing touches to the first releases of 2012, expect to see several new tracks and EPs dropping on various labels in the near future.

Done for a recent Trouble & Bass competition, download Roby’s unofficial remix of Drop The Lime below. Unfortunately Roby’s remix didn’t win the comp, but has struck a chord with the likes of Hostage nevertheless.

Further releases to come on Keiz Beats, Gash Digital and French label Moveltraxx, as well as two new collaborations with Sharkslayer and more remixes on Top Billin.

After a very successful 2011 which saw his music supported by big names such as Laidback Luke, Congorock, Jaymo and Andy George, Malente and Fedde Le Grand, Birdee returns with a double tracker on Southern Fried Records for his first release of 2012.

First off is Blowin’ Up, a collaboration with italian turbofunkers Reset!, who surely need no introduction having released a string of successful Ep’s on Cheap Thrills and remixed everyone from Cassius to Robyn.

The second track, You Like It, is a solo effort from Birdee and is a big room stomper with a full on disco breakdown – already tested on some of the world’s hottest dancefloors.

To brighten up the January blues, Birdee has also decided to give away for free his take on the Chic classic Everybody Dance…guaranteed to make those booties shake on the dancefloor!

Birdee collaborates with fellow Italians Reset! on his latest release on Southern Fried Records. And if you missed it, make sure to give the accompanying promo mix a whirl.

Birdee continues to impress with his new remix. Of course we’re extremely bias, given our love for The Whip, one of Manchester’s finest musical exports of recent times. Birdee gives “Secret Weapon” the Ghetto-disco treatment with a hint of Rio Carnival atmosphere… or in his own words; “call it what you will!”.

We’re pleased to introduce more fresh talent for 2011 in the form of Roby Howler, our bro from Moscow!

Currently releasing on forward thinking labels like Top Billin, Moveltraxx, Gash Digital and Globelle, Roby’s productions are striking a chord across Europe and beyond with taste-making DJs such as Sharkslayer, Sound Pellegrino Thermal team and Rusko.

Those in the know have been well aware of Roby long before now, but wider recognition is round the corner as Fatboy Slim’s Southern Fried imprint recently included his track “Figures” on their new Fried & Tested compilation, due out around September 2011.

Roby’s about to finish off a glittering university career, so will be unavailable until September… that’s when we’ll be rockin’ Alice Cooper on the stereo and letting him loose!

To warm you up, here’s a great mini-mix/AV teaser done in colaboration with Stereo Noize. Its a few months old, but good music doesn’t age, and it’s just that good!

This track has already been tearing it up for a minute… a new Sharkslayer remix of Malente & Jay Robinson’s “Dwarfs”, out today on Southern Fried Records. In this live preview vid you can see the Sharkslayer duo Nenis & Pushups rocking the floor at Malmo’s Green Rooms.

The remix is getting a lot of love, with Bloody Beetroots, Boys Noize, Riton and Laidback Luke all biggin’ up the Sharkslayer team… expect to hear this on a dancefloor near you soon!
