It’s been a minute since we caught up with our bro from Moscow Roby Howler. He’s been busy in the studio putting the finishing touches to the first releases of 2012, expect to see several new tracks and EPs dropping on various labels in the near future.

Done for a recent Trouble & Bass competition, download Roby’s unofficial remix of Drop The Lime below. Unfortunately Roby’s remix didn’t win the comp, but has struck a chord with the likes of Hostage nevertheless.

Jay Robinson makes tunes like other people make sandwiches… as in, one pretty much every day! You’ll find a host of recent remixes and productions out now on various labels such as Trouble & Bass and Warehouse, but make sure you check out these two big releases, out today.

First up is a dubstep remix on Laidback Luke’s Mixmash label. Luke has been a long time supporter of Jay’s, playing many of his productions in his DJ sets and compiltation mixes, so it’s great to see this well deserved release… only the second ever dubstep track to make it onto the label’s catalogue!

Faze2 are proud to announce the latest addition to our roster in the shape of Jay Robinson. A mere whippersnapper of a lad, Jay has propelled his way to notoriety with a slew of remixes and original productions on labels such as Southern Fried, Trouble & Bass, Dim Mak and Simma to name but a few.

With support from Radio One’s Kissy Sellout & Zane Lowe, as well as a recent guest mix on the Annie Nightingale show (hit play below to listen) Jay’s productions have found their way into the sets and playlists of some of the world’s biggest names, with Armand Van Helden, Moby, Fake Blood, Annie Mac & Herve all regularly championing his tracks.

Following the success of “Heavyweight Champions of the World” (Rico Tubbs vs Calvertron) on Trouble & Bass (April 2010), Rico Tubbs set off to the colonies once again for a packed run of USA dates last month. This time round saw Rico hit some of the rowdiest spots in LA (Dim Mak/Avalon), San Francisco and of course the Trouble & Bass party in New York with label mate Calvertron.

As you can see from the videos below Rico delivered the goods in his usual fine style…
